Just booked Petros with Olympic for next May, not sure whether its up or down. Anyone been recently as info, especially on Petros "down" is fairly sparse. Saw something that they were meant to be undergoing an overhaul - can't really tell from Olympic's 1 picture

Hi,looking at Olympic site I would hazard a guess that the dbl is the down apartment as it is the biggest, The upstairs has great view we stayed there for thee years before the refurb,This year we were shown round upstairs and the refurb looks great so I would think downstairs will be done to same standard but no view.We are out again in May next year staying again in Villa Nina

Hi Aegina 1943. We came to pretty much the same conclusion that we are downstairs. We know, from another post on Tripadvisor (and one on here I think) that it has a separate kitchen, and we can see it's got a fairly big verandah (don't mind not having a view)it would just be nice to see another picture of it . I think we used to pass it on the way back to Nikitas and Kaity, but then again, we used to pass a lot of places on the way home that we didn't pass on the way out

The Petros (down) has been refurbished earlier this year - it no longer has a separate kitchen accessed from outside.
It now comprises as before of a reasonably sized terrace with table and chairs but no view, as you walk through the 'front' door it is now an open plan living/kitchen area with full cooker, dining table and two sofa beds, the bathroom is through a door directly in front of the front door and it has a separate double bedroom on the right.
The 'old kitchen' appears to be a store for the cleaner.
The apartments are not on the same side of the Harbour as Nikitas and Kaity but on the opposite side directly in line with the back of the Church 'Bell Tower'

Downfall on its way I guess as there is a great short cut direct to Apostolis via the steps in front of the Church

We stayed in Petros Up last year on our first stay at Halki, we loved it. the only downfall was the lack of air conditioning and the use of only one fan. However we would definitely stay there again. It was extremely relaxing, very pretty and clean. We loved sitting by the window looking out to the harbour below. We spend a lot of time at the apartment just relaxing. We tried to book for this year however the apartment was taken so we are at Roulla Studios

I understand that there are also some really good views from the Roulla however, you will have been very spoilt with the Petros (Up). But at least you will be on Halki
