I know some of you have not yet been in 2013, however, I have also noticed from this forum that bookings are already underway for 2014. Olympic have changed the criteria for their bookings if you are a solo traveller, the number of apartments that you could have previously booked are no longer available for a single occupant therefore the accommodation for one is few and far between. The reason I was told is because they need to fill the seats on the planes................................... Not sure if that is the true reason as the plane I was on earlier this year was full and there were two solo travellers to Halki on board each with their own accommodation that catered for more than one person. Does this mean if you book accommodation that caters for a single person, (and there are a lot who do) there will be no under occupancy fee? I'll be interested to know how you all get on and what alternatives if any you find.

Yes most of planes are full now so whats their problem.I see what you mean re accom when I type in for one geez that means you cannot get the accom you had this year(you showed us round it , as we stayed there before the refurb) we were impressed.I hope you do find suitable accom , we are at other side of village now and do find it a bit quieter well except for doves and fishing boats. How does the putt putt of small boats not annoy ,, but the putt putt from scooters does

There seems to be some strange things going on on the Olympic website. I was looking at Halki for next May/June and going in through the "Halki" search page, it gives a price of £900.00 odd per person for Kiki, Roulla and Petros(I can go with Nissia for less than that )but then if you go through the Rhodes page, the same properties come up at around £500. It even comes up with "no acommodation available" occasionally, depending on how it's feeling. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence

I suggest that currently if in doubt about prices telephone Olympic Holidays (phone number on their web page) if the accommodation you want is at a price that you are happy with then reserve/book over the phone, but don't forget to ask for the on line discount. As for solo travellers there are only two apartments available.
