Water taxi

Hi,

We are coming to Halki on Saturday 8th June, it will be our first visit. I know we will be too late for the ferry, and wonder if anyone can tell me if/what time the water taxi leaves Kameiros for Halki in the early evening?
Do we have to pre-book, and how much does it cost?

Timings; you don't say when you will arrive.
It used to be 19:00.
Price; on schedule
It used to be €12.50.

No other information available.

Have you booked a flat sea!!!!! This does matter! Worst case scenario, no water taxi. Second worse case you get wet and/or sick!

Thanks for such a quick reply. We are catching the ferry from Symi at 16:30 which gets in to Kolonna at 17:20. If the water taxi is at 19:00 that should be enough time for us to get to Kameiros by taxi I think.
Otherwise I don't think we will be chartering the water taxi for 230 Euros! We would have to stay over in Kameiros and get the ferry next morning.
I'm glad you pointed out that the water taxi may not be a smooth ride, I do get very seasick even on calm days, so will make sure I am dosed up with seasickness tablets!
The problem is that we are only staying on Halki for 3 nights as we will be moving on to Tilos, so we wanted to make the most of it and not have to spend a night in Kameiros unless we have to.

The Prevelis goes from Rhodes to Halki at 2.30 am Sunday morning arrives at 4.30 ..I know it means hanging around but at least you'd have the full day on Sunday
Its just if you leg it all the way to KS and for one reason or another the Water taxi isn't there or not running , then you are snookered
