They did Di last year and pulled out early but according to their website they are still gonna go to Rhodes ! Not sure Amanda I only check Liverpool .. The Easyjet flights are rubbish this year .. Awfull times and quite expensive too .. We would have to have an extra day/night either side if we used them

?Although probably no good for you but EJ from Gatwick prices were good when we booked for June and September - September being cheaper than June. Times are good with early morning out (hopefully meaning bus down and lunch at KS before catching the boat) and lunchtime back. Not much difference in travel to airport time wherever we fly as we live in Cornwall it means overnight drive up but if it actually gets back on time we should be able to drive home on the same day. Counting the weeks!

Bev, thanks for the nudge about EJ LGW, the last time I checked a few weeks ago they were on sale up to early Sept - no good for us as we want mid Sept - but I now see that later flights are on sale. On the basis that the world does not end on Friday, I'll join with you in the Halki countdown ! JtB

Regarding the Ryanair situation, negotiations did stall last year but they resumed this year. Both parties came to an agreement on the 4th of December. This agreement states that Ryanair will receive 500.000 euros from the Dodecanese, for flights to Rhodes and Kos and is valid for 2 years. For the 2013 season Ryanair will start operations on the 1st April until the 31st of October and for the 2014 season this period will extend by two months, to include November and December 2014. Good news for the islands. The flights are now live on Ryanair's website.Happy travels!

Liz, I tried and it does show flights for me. As an example Stansted to Rhodes is open. East Midlands is too. Liverpool isn't, yet.
