Has anyone travelled/booked accommodation with Olympic We are looking to book and extra week in Halki in August/September but looking at the flights they have given we get into Rhodes at 01.00 Olympic tell us they provide accoodation until pick up for the boat to Halki.
Does anyone know do Olympic wait for the 16.30 boat or would we be put on an earlier ferry to Halki. Also what accommodation would we expect for the night in Rhodes.
Help please

If your flight is landing at 1pm lunchtime then by the time you get your bags and the coach to KS then you'll have time for a couple of drinks and something to eat before the ferry - if you choose to use a earlier ferry than the booked one then I would imagine you'd have to pay the 10e
Some Olympic flights land too late for the ferry and so they do provide accommodation on Rhodes for the night and transfer you the next day ( not sure of the time-sorry)

I think, Liz, that 01.00 means 0100 hours, that is to say one o'clock in the morning, not 1300 hours. The answer, chris8331, probably depends on what day of the week your flight is scheduled to arrive. If, as I suspect, it's a Wednesday, or to be more accurate 0100 on a Thursday morning, the following day's scheduled ferry (by that I mean the Thursday, which is really the same day, if you see what I mean) is likely to depart at 1430, based on what has happened in the past, not 1630. (By "scheduled ferry" I mean the government-subsidised, timetabled ferry - there may be an unscheduled "day-trip" ferry at around 10.00 hours.) But I didn't go to Halki in 2012 and with the introduction of the new ferry in 2012 I'm not sure whether times have changed or may change for 2013, so others may correct me.
