;)Recently been to Assos on Kephalonia. No car but was warned to see the island it was advisable to drive. Arrived in Assos and only moved once for a marine biology trip. It was a delightful little village - quiet yet plenty of choice for eating or snacking and the best swiming of any of the islands i have been to. Travelled with Greek Options and could not fault their flights and transfers. In the words of one Arnold - i will be back.  |

Hi Snoopy we've recently returned from Kefalonia too ...Lourdas , we did intend to hire a car but came over with a serious dose of can'tbebothereditis ;D so other than a bus ride to Argostoli we did nothing. Ive looked at Greek options a few times for Assos ...I fancy the little appartments overlooking the sea |

Well you will not be returning with Greek Options according to their web site they have ceased trading after seventeen years So maybe been lucky getting holiday this year
