I've been checking flights & prices daily for weeks now even though I knew we couldn't go. (Sucker for punishment!). But this morning I found the usual £550, £595, £620 prices (for 2, return) then suddenly this one came up at £248, October 8th, 2 weeks from Gatwick. I rang Airflights to check and of course it was wrong .... it was £236!! So yes, we've booked! When I rang, Harry wasn't at home so had to wait a gruelling 2 hours till he returned (he has the purse, I spend the money). When he said book it I rang back to find only 3 seats left. So now it's down to one seat. If anyone's interested the telephone number is 0800 083 7007 - talk to David if poss, he's great. And yes, I checked, Airflights are ATOL covered but the flight is Thomson anyway who are unlikely to go under apparently (what do I know - could be famous last words!) CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE GOING AFTER ALL!!!!!! Excited? Me?  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |
