What a question Other than Halki well let me think ( Funny noises like unoiled cogs) for me it must be Lesvos or is it Samos could even be Paleochora in Southern Crete . No its definately the Votsala in Pyrgi Thermi Lesvos. Very peaceful nothing to much trouble for Yiannis and Daphne the owners. etc

Been to many Greek islands -Halki is by far our favourite for relaxation.
Tilos is easily reached from Halki , we went for a day last year and though very different to Halki certainly worth a visit.
Favourite other islands are Lesvos,Samos and Thassos.
Left me cold - Kefalonia.

I think it took about an hour and a half to get from Halki to Tilos. Tilos is much greener than Halki with a more varied landscape. The main port, Livadia, has what looks very much like a modern purpose built resort but it is quite tasteful and quiet. The main town is inland and I think most of the islanders live there. There are quite a few beaches dotted around and the one we went to was very nice. This was the view from the main town out to one of the bays.

We went on the day trip a couple of years ago and liked it very much, intended to go again last year but found it hard to drag ourselves away for the day except to go to Alimnia on the small boat ;D

We got on a bus to the main village when we arrived and had lunch at a taverna with very similar views to the picture on the previous post, then we wandered round the tiny back streets which were very picturesque. The harbourside was lovely with a shingle beach and some super beach bars, some with roof terraces, alll together very different to Halki but worth it if you can tear yourself away for the day ;D
