I remember that there is no bank on Halki.
Is there an ATM machine?

Yes there is an ATM, it is underneath the post office steps on the harbour ;D

I wouldn't rely on it though as it has a habit of breaking down. You can change money / travellers cheques in Zifos Travel (just to the right of the ATM and back a bit).
