In 2007, we enjoyed practicing our Danish while on Halki with the Scandinavian visitors travelling with Skibby Rejser. We were a little disappointed this year to find it was just British visitors again in May. We heard conflicting reports that the Scandinavian company had pulled out and that their season was going to start later ... anyone know the full story?

Don't think they travelled to Halki at all this year.

I did look on the company's website and it appeared that they had dropped Halki as a destination. From the people we spoke to, I think the general opinion was that Halki was too small and there was not enough to do It's a shame though as it was nice to be able to brush up on our Danish and it did give the evenings round the harbour a bit more of a cosmopolitan buzz! |
