Noticed yesterday, that Jet2 have flights to Rhodes each Wednesday during the summer 2009 leaving at 0900hrs! Have used Jet2 a few times and can reccomend, certainly Alan Bennett class, cos you get mushy peas with your chips. ;D Leeds Bradford is a great regional airport, better than Manchester, much more friendly if you can understand the dialect .

I am increasingly of the opinion that it might be prudent to wait before booking and try and pick up a late bargain! I have the feeling that the way things are going there may be some around next year

I quite agree Jennifer. We fell foul of XL for flights to Samos next May but have to say that The Flight Centre we booked with have been fantastic, and I am waiting to get the money back. The alternative they offered was almost double the original cost though, so waiting for dust to settle before booking. Am Very tempted to book Halki via DG as price looks good for late next year, especially if other airlines bite the dust. Anyone interested in buying a redundant jet, will keep watch on Ebay ;D

Now there's a thought We could set up a syndicate like when locals buy out their village pub and arrange our own flights to Rhodes and Saturday transfers! Hurrah!

I have the feeling that the way things are going there may be some around next year I thought the same thing Jennifer, but there was an article in the paper last Saturday which suggested the very opposite. They were saying that because there will be fewer companies around, and also fewer flights around, the holidays will get booked and there will be no late deals. They also said that the days of cheap holidays and cheap flights are gone.

Managed to get replacement flights, but came across one Thomson were offering. It was only £1,515 to Koroni Saying that there was a sense of adventure about it as it stated that "your departure airport is not your return airport"
