Has anyone stayed at Villa Vasoula? These are apparently 2 apartments next to eachother, and I would like to see a photo of the OUTSIDE of this accommodation before booking, or hear from anyone who's stayed there! Thank you for helping....

Hi I can't find a photo  It is 3 red bags who currently let the property maybe if you e-mailed them or if you message Tpsaras on here he may be able to help out with a outside picture  |

Thank you Liz. Yes he's going to try to do that tomorrow - ie send me a pic. I was trying to picture these 2 old villas 5 mins away from Pondamos, on the right, but I can't! The website has lovely photos of the inside but none of the outside. But it sounds lovely......

I'd be interested to see which property it is ...I've been trying to picture it but to be honest any property on that road to me would be ideal ....in my mind they are up by the old ' pigeon house' ..which I know has now been renovated but its name escapes me ( it was the one I would buy when I won the lottery ...that and the one on the harbour front which is still derelict ) |

That's the one thanks .. I have a feeling the first place we stayed in was called Vasoula .. Up by the town hall , the top floor wasn't in use but it looks completley different from the pictures on 3redbags and there eas no view of pondamos ..so I'm sure it's not the same .. Will be interested to see the pictures |

I'd be interested to see the photos to solve this one. Coming out of the Pondamos Bar and turning right to going back up the Tarpon Springs Boulevard, you go past the road to your cemetery on your right. As you start to climb up back there are a pair of villas ( I thought they were newish though) on your right, being (from memory) the very first properties you come to on the right, they have a nice large patio area outside and look down to Pondamos. As Liz says, await photos from Daffy.

I dont think thats the one ..thats the Marahathi ( or something like that ) the one with the pergolas in the garden . Thats what I initially thought but I think its further up ....waiting waiting lol |

Marianthi, many years ago they were with Laskarina, beautiful views ;D There was a Villa Vasoula with Direct Greece a long time ago but it was not on the Podamos road, probably one across from it nearer to Dorothea. Interesting looking back at old brochures it seems like there used to be lots more properties for rent say 10 years ago  |

Looking again I think it is the villa we stayed in ( but obviously renovated )
If it is the one then it's up at the top to the left of the back of the town hall. ( looking up from the harbour )
The top floor wasn't in use when we stayed but it would look down to Pondamos from the back . The pictures I have are about 10 yrs old so would bear no resemblance to how it is now .

Thanks Tpsaras .. You have put my nosey beak to rest It's not the villa I thought ..there is a longer video on u tube which shows the location better on the way back from Pondamos its on the left . Lovely apartments |
