....and also, current taxi fares from airport to Rhodes town, and from Rhodes town to KS, would be useful (as per the addition to postings on"Overnight in Rhodes Town" in General postings). I know there's a board displaying "official" fares at the airport but prior knowledge would be useful for budgeting purposes.
In theory, the Greek government's attempt to introduce more competition should lower taxi fares, but I doubt that happening in practice!

When we went in June the taxi fares were the same as last year. 40 Euros from the airport to KS and 50 Euros for the return journey from KS to the airport.  |
