A great survivor is our Stumpy. I remember him in his pre stump days.

No idea but he must be at the very least 8. He wasn't at all sociable in his early days when he had a full tail. It must gave had some effect on him because he has a great temperament now. The tail business was not pleasant.

Again I've no idea but it clearly got caught in something about half way down. He paddled around for quite some time with the "end half" hanging at right angles to the rest. It was rather unpleasant and looked painful. Will not relate any other details . Then one day, he was suddenly "stumpy". An A1 but very streetwise cat.

Yes, hes brilliant and a real Halki character, I seem to think he was there on our first visit which was 9 or 10 years ago, but may be mistaken as in those days there were a lot more cats and kittens around ;D

You could very well be right. I could be wrong but I do believe there is another ginger cat still there from the same litter. DG Jane may know if you mention it to her when out there. Seem to have drifted off thread here so I'll let stumpy get on with his life ;D

Thumbs up from us for **stumpy** + all the other lovely cats, good to see that some/most are still being looked after and are thriving
