A summary ...

Ok I know we've been back a while but the time just ran away with us ..

So in short ( ish )

we arrived late on Saturday 1st June .. airport was a shambles .. avoid the late arrivals if you can .. it took over 2 hours to get through all the formalities and collect luggage .. thank God we had a lovely driver waiting for us who wasn't bothered ( or if he was he certainly didn't show it ) `it was after 3 am when we arrived at the Athemenis at KS .. those people are so lovely .. I messaged them as we landed and they left us the key in the door and a bottle of water and retsina in the room
Breakfast and Ferry over to Halki on the Sunday .. met Simon and some other lovely people .. we stayed at Anna from Remezzo's mothers house ( I think its called 'the blue' ) which was a wonderful place to stay .. very spacious and very well equipped ( behind Admirals house )
we did get to Pondamos a few times and as always the welcome there was warm and we met the lovely Irina , we spent most of our time at Ftenagia ( those of you who do FB may have seen the 3 part video of the so called fishing trip )
we ate at Black Sea , Valentis , Remezzo ,Blue marine ( which was a new one for us time we liked it that we could just snack ) Zoe and Soulas, Apostolis , Piazza bar , we went to the hotel for a couple of lemonades after the beach ... all our plans to do this that and the other just disappeared ! we had probably one of the best times we've ever had. Our good friends Sandra & Billy were there too which made it even better .. ooh and a special mention to Anna from Theodossias who delivered desserts to Valentis for Billy & Steve because they were too lazy to walk
we met some lovely people old friends and new .. looking forward to next year already ..

Downside of the holiday ? ... I forgot to take my teabags ... I really did miss a good cup of tea ( ... never thought I'd admit that )
