This is the index to my project to show the coast of Halki in 19 sections. Most of the pictures and videos were taken from my Sportfisher Kinygos II (some from Kinygos). When I am on my boat I am trolling; fishing travelling at around 7knots with lines behind the boat. This means that it is a good speed to take pictures but, you will see lines and outrigger gear intruding into many of the pictures, and when we catch a fish we get a bit too preoccupied to take pictures. Sometimes the sea is a bit too lumpy to do good pictures. Therefore there are some gaps in the record. I have included some sections with no photographs. Maybe next year I will be able to edit and fill the gaps with photos and videos. The option is available for others to post pictures in the appropriate sections. Not everyone has a boat, but for those that do or did eg. Lord Lucan & sth I invite them to add any material they have. Also shore pictures, or any from trip boats (?) would be good, especially historic ones. What an amazing project! Great work, really impressed.
Do you accept visitors on the Kinygos? Fishing lessons maybe? I'll cook the catch!

What an amazing project! Great work, really impressed. Do you accept visitors on the Kinygos? Fishing lessons maybe? I'll cook the catch! Anglers and crew always welcome. Crew taking photographs and movies especially so! Three is company for this sort of fishing. Regarding the fishing, it isn't Greek; "This system NO good." I've lost count of the number of times I've been told that! I do everything wrong as far a Greek fishing goes, however if you have an open mind, quick reactions, and a bit of strength and balance you should be OK! Look at my tackle here halkivisiting.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=photos&action=display&thread=530Oh yes, and we stop when we have caught enough because it's sportfishing. That means it's for fun, and it is!
