Not quite sure which ferry you mean there Liz, but the general rule is you can take any ferry you like, if you are prepared to pay. Perhaps if you do not go on the correct one eg. a Nissia client on a non-Nissia ferry you may make problems for Pete & Lynne wondering where you are, unless you inform them. I usually do the Halki - Kamiros trip on a Wednesday so I don't have to get up at stupid O'clock, that is when I am not using Kinygos II of course. It costs €10 as the trip is not subsidised. The Water Taxi, if it decides to run, costs €12.50 and takes half the time, if a little bouncy sometimes!

Its the ferry that leaves Halki about 8.30 am and I think it returns with day trippers about 10.30 ish we'll already be on Rhodes so thought the earlier one would be better rather than waiting for the 4.30-5.00 one ( Yes I know I'm well early with my plans but I'm fed up ...sick of the snow and now we only have electricity in half the house ....I've got extension cables running all over the place -looks lovely ;D )

OK gotcha! My brain is a little confused, sorry.
Of course you can use it.
You might like to know it is 18:00 here, dark and the outside temperature is just under 18c, Brrrrr!
Unfortunately I will be attempting to enter the UK 12/01/11 and I have no "Damart"! I only intend to stay for a week, hope I can endure!
