Ours have arrived Carole, but don't panic. Did you manage to get through to the help line? I'm sure that yours will arrive soon. Keep us posted. See you soon......very soon.

Did you book online, pay by credit card, or have a receipt? Any of those should be reassuring. If they have your money you should be OK. I booked online with a card in Melbourne for a trip from Athens to Rhodes and got an e-ticket. Got the flight. All OK. The spooky thing is I can't find any record of them actually taking the money! That's the other side of the coin.

Did you not get an e-ticket?
If not can you not go back with your booking details and get one?
Seems a bit low tech to get you to book online and then snail-mail the tickets. Most strange!
By the way I am in Theodosia's at the moment. Just been talking to Jan. Well, she'll talk to anyone! She & Griff have had a great time, unfortunately home tomorrow.

Carol I know it doesn’t help but the whole industry appears to be run by semi-trained amoeba. We booked as usual with FC last year and got a confirmation email stating that the email needed to be brought to the check-in desk in lieu of a ticket because there would not be any tickets issued. OK. I printed out the mail and guarded it well. Tickets arrived last Wednesday? See you as KS.

Hi Carol Our TC tickets arrived with no passenger names on them. When they arrive, check them carefully! Good luck and have a great time! Andrew

Hi Enforcer, I forgot to say that on our return, we queued up and whilst in the queue were told by a TC rep that e-mail printout tickets are not always accepted by the check in assistant. However, we were fine! Also, when at KS, we ate a small meal with a few beers and were charged a fortune. This was at the taverna nearest the harbour. Not sure what the other tavernas are like. Poor you Carol. When we changed our flight in June we had to pick our tickets up at Gatwick so I know how you feel. I too was a nervous wreck but it was fine. Believe it or not it was very organised and we were both surprised and impressed. The tickets will probably arrive before then but if not a large drink helps!!!! We too said never again, but when TC get things right as they did in June all is fine and we will probably go with them again next year. Fingers crossed for you and see you next Wednesday.

Andrew, thank you. We're actually with First Choice/Thompson but I assume they are as daft as each other if one goes off 'The beaten track'. Whatever, we shall arrive at Gatwick armed with both ticket booklet and email print out. Having flown all over the world I tend to be pragmatic when it comes to air travel going wrong - and I'm a pilot! But the thought of missing Halki makes me paranoid. Don't ask, it must be the magic of the place. At KS we tend to use the first on the right as you look down to the jetty; it was the first one we ever used and I suppose it has become a habit now. Carol ever since the demise of Laskarina we take a taxi to KS as soon as we are out of the airport. Push comes to shove I'd walk/hitch/steal a car to get away from the madhouse. A light lunch, a couple of warmers into the bank, an ouzo and a paddle justifies the effort.
