Ooo you spooky thing ..I am just looking for one now Last year we used one which was about 25 mins away -they had a shuttle bus and it worked briliantly for us -this year they seem to be alot cheaper ..about 45 quid for the two weeks ..I shall rport back when I have found one

Its also worth looking at staying the night before with parking included, at least you can stay in bed longer in the morning! ;D

:)Thanks a lot Liz. Ideally,we'd want one that is easily reached from the motorway...so we don't get lost. We're thinking of driving during the night so that the roads are quieter.

Thats a good idea Kathy especially with the long drive you have Sunfun -or could you not get a shuttle flight ?

:)We did think of that, that's what we've done previously.but it means more time off work......and no smoked bacon in the case! ;D ;D.We haven't made a final decision yet,but considering staying the night on our return if too tired too drive home.

Now we have to travel to ******* Gatwick every time instead of flying out of Cardiff we go up the night before and stay and stay on the way back as well, it isnt too bad price wise with the parking and you are not driving whilst feeling knackered ;D ;D

We use a place at Styal, called Lilac Cottage, have done for years. Was £45 for 2 weeks in July. It is literally 5 minutes from the airport. They have a minibus to run you to and from the airport. Call them once you've gone through customs on your return, and by the time you've got to the car park they're waiting for you. I think it's a b&b place too, although we've never stayed there (only being an hour and 15 minutes drive away from Manchester). Phone number is 01625 530114. If you've not been before, they'll post you a map.

:)Thanks a lot for that Dawn, Will make a note of it. Carol,i think we'd be ok driving down, but think it may be a bit tiring coming back,so we might stay somewhere.Although saying that,we've drove up after a 9 hour flight from the dominican. I'll leave the final decision up to mr sunfun...as he'd be doing the driving. ;D

We have settled on APH for all our flights from Manchester. We have tried others but APH are efficient and after a long drive they have pleasant loos. They are quite close to the airport and have never kept us waiting. Coming from the north they are easy to find.
