Take a set out for Kinygos. You never know, he may catch something big enough to weigh someday. ;D ;D ;D (Whoops, I'll have to buy him more beer now)

Question is, where is the lightest (at reasonable cost) luggage to be bought from:
We have to buy before we go (5 weeks and counting).
Lets be havin' yer luggage (empty) weights then:

Fatcat, I bought some ultra light luggage from T J Hughes. It's the lightest on the market. I was worried that it might not survive the journey trauma, but it's been great! It's called the "Sub 0 G" range. The 26 inch case (67x45x23.5cm) weighs only 2.56kg empty! (Yes, I just found the label, I'm not a memory freak ) That size cost £45 (RRP £65). I'd seen it in other luggage shops at full price - I kept going in and picking it up because I couldn't believe how light it was! - so was chuffed to find it cheaper in T J Hughes.

Cheers Dawn ;D
Carol - my fault, I thought we were going on the 2nd, it appears we are now going on the 9th (always had a problem with dates).
We have both been working on synchronised swimming routines in the pool over the last year, we have put together a 'UK demonstartion' which we plan to show the ladies of Halki every evening from 4-9pm, we are gonna wipe the floor with them this year.
Just got to buy some natty hats to complete the ensomble (and find something to talk about for 4 hours without drawing breath....)

Oh dear I didn't buy it online, I got them in the branch in Sheffield. Do they have everything that's in the stores on the website? It was early July when I bought it.

Don't take Aldi scales as truthful. In June I used the Aldi scales, the bathroom scales both gave different results and Manchester Check-in were lightest of all. When we returned I checked the Aldi scales against a known weight they were well out.

:)Never used them myself, just thought it was a good price as we paid about £14 from a sports shop. It was winter though. At least you wouldn't be over the limit if they were lightest at manchester though...would have been worse if it was the other way round.
