 I want to moan about the bloody rain.  It's been throwing it down for hours! Is this the long hot summer we were promised? Is it nice anywhere else in the country today? Or is the rain quota for the whole of the country falling here!!

It was lovely and sunny in South Devon until about 10am! then cloudy with a few sunny spells and then rain on and off from 4pm!!!

:)Same happened last year.Got the sunlounger down from the loft and it's been used once...... Hopefully i'll get to use it again before it goes back up.Got to think positive,but it's actually cold and raining here.  |

Absolutely roasting in Scotland... and back to Halki next week... ouch! But it did rain for three minutes in Halki on the 25th of June - that was weird.

Just home from doing the pub quiz, really busy tonight then the water started teeming in through the roof just over where I was standing with my mic! I tell you its dangerous stuff being quizmaster in a pub with a leaky roof Still 9 weeks til I go back to Halki |

Yep, just a week this time, but can't wait. Actually at the time of the last post it was tumbling down in Glasgow, about an inch of water in the garden. The sun is actually shining now though - what an awful summer it's been (even by our standards!)

We must be very lucky, has'nt rained here in Essex for 3 months now. In fact it's been the hottest, driest spell in Essex since 1976. Believe that and you will believe anything...  |
