Bignige is a friend of mine on Facebook, he does know about "us" but I will tell him you are asking about him and hopefully he will respond ;D I do know he has not been to Halki for a few years and is not going this year  |

I dont know.I met bignige a couple of years ago , and always look forward to his postings. Anyway after a years gap we are back to Halki for a 5th time, can,t wait, we stay in an old DG villa now run by Zifos, thanks to Jane Chapman for sorting things, a bit like the old DG days. Role on July 29th.

Back into Management again ( my obituary is imminent!!!) Sorry i can't make Halki - my IDIOTIC wife has decided that she cannot live with my wee friends - the Jellys'tards and not have a pool for to cool her royal arse in !!!!!!! So this year we are going to Wiltshire (Tidmouth ) for a coupla weeks and have booked for Kefalonia (Assos) next year ..... Just off to do a spot of housework ( yeah sure) back later me hearties!!!!!  |

you old irish fool come back to Halki we are off on july 29th after a year gap. kefalonia ok, we went to Skala 6 years ago pre Halki. Hire a car and travel around the island well worth it. Still gutted about the Lions , sooooooooooooooo disapointed last week. I have now officially retired from rugby aged 48, all the best

Good to see you Nige ..Kefalonia is lovely ( we went to Scala too Rollo ) There doesn't seem to be any mention of the jellies ...we didn't see any last year ....maybe its you that attracts them  ;D |

Hello - good to see you back.
I miss the gentle ribbing concerning mozzies, jellyb******ds, people lusting internet access, wanting a gym....
You'll like Kefalonia. It's a stunning island. We can't return 'cos the kiddies were freaked out by a 5.6 earthquake when we were there. (I was taking your advice and geligniting mozzies just beforehand).

i posted a reply about busy Halki in August but cant see where it went derrrrrrr. So will do it again. How much does Nic now charge for beds at fetagnia? and is it a lot busier mow he has built more houses behind the taverna? I am getting worried as I used to go in June and it was fine then. Will I regret going in August, unfortunately that was my only option

Hi Rollo,
Just returned last Wednesday.
Nic was charging 6 Euros for bed and umbrella, but I swear he kept undercharging me ;D
Ftenagia was pleasantly peaceful, but with the usual banter, good music and even better food!
Very few daytrippers down there!
Enjoy and say hi to Angelo and Nic for me! ;D
