We have been back for almost a week - it seems like 6 months - and we keep saying that Halki cannot get any better but it does with each visit. We had a fabulous 4 weeks and met up with some of our old friends and made some great new friends. It has already been reported that there has been some minor changes to Halki, namely the Big Shop is the Little Shop, one half of which is now a Jewellery Shop which was due to open the day we left.
Phew!!! So sorry to have missed that - I speak with forked tongue. Kiki and her mum and brother have opened the ex Ormonia restaurant and there is a Crepe Shop at the side of Theodosas. Excellent pancakes. A lot of the old properties are being renovated.
Nikos, Angelis (and Nando), Lelli, and Roula are all in fine form at the Ftenegia Beach.

Maria, the daughter of Nicolas & Samanthea at the Steki bar, which is next to the Avra, is the local Municipal Police officer by day and works in the bar in the evening.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I've only just got round to registering and wanted to give a big wave to Joan and Bob ;D. Waves from the other side of the Pennines.
