Hi James, sorry never stayed in Polymnia but it looks lovely and is in a stunning position, hopefully someone on here may have been lucky enough to stay there otherwise I would suggest they snap it up. Anouska is a beautiful house, friends of ours were staying there last year and we had a look round, I have always called it the dolls house and that is just what it is like inside, it is stunning, but that is why it is always booked up ;D

James, I have stayed at Hiona and now use Areta. I have looked through Polymnia and it is a well appointed villa. Designed to sleep 4 very comfortably and 6 with ease it is the last villa along to waterfront. The balcony catches the sun for most of the day (sunrise to 17:00) and there is an area at the back if you are desperate to catch the last rays of the day. Access to the sea is easy. Because it is the last villa you are secluded and isolated from the masses? Downside is you are near a chicken coop one of which is darn noisy. If you catch it and strangle the wretched thing you earn all our undying gratitude! ;D If I ever have to bring the grandchildren that is where we will stay.

Only once Harry? I heard you always visited a place three times. 1st as a guest. ;D 2nd to apologize. 3rd to return the silver. Or are these just scurrilous rumours put about by the locals and tourists?

As a man of the cloth I am deeply offended to be insulted by a kilt wearing half Scot who has not as yet come out of the closet about being a member of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guard. Shame on you Mr Enforcer ;D Happy Easter

Polymnia is a fine house in a superb position. Owned by the current mayor. Cockerels and Greek islands go hand in hand like goats with bells. And taverna attacking bugs!! ;D

Harry at last we have found common ground. As a man of the cloth your job was to prepare people to meet their maker; my job was to expedite that meeting. ;D

We have stayed in Polymnia - really lovely villa - beautiful views, bit of a chore to walk down the stairs to get to the sea, and only one bathroom (when I was last there). But ..... it's a lovely location - easily sleeps 6-7 people, just a pain with one bathroom! Lovely terrace and veranda - beautiful wooden floors throughout - would recommend it.

We stayed in the Polymnia Studio last year and this year have upgraded to the Villa itself. We were invited in for a late night drink by our neighbours last year and the villa looked very nice. We are really looking forward to the seclusion and being right on the water...... just counting the days now (59 by my calculation!!!!)
