Good idea Enforcer ;D in fact maybe Nick and Leli would care to join us and yes Liz I can definitely imagine Mr Fergie in a flowery swimming hat !!! ;D Such a shame we all have so long for this swimming spectacular to take place, but it gives us more time to practice the drinking, oops sorry I mean swimming

Good grief Liz, what's that funny wobbly thing at the bottom of your post? On second thoughts, perhaps I don't want to know!

Oh come on Amanda, that’s Liz practising her entry into the water prior to the HTFT Ftenagia display. ;D Carol, Liz, taking the sponsorship a stage further you could get an innocent bystander to take pictures of the HTFT and then persuade Nick to sell them on as postcards. Whether you could import pictures of the HTFT in their display costume of flowery hat, Ray Bans and flippers is something HM Customs will have to be asked about. Still they may fetch more money on the black market and become collectors’ items – Calendar Girls eat your hearts out!

I agree Liz. I'm all for equality when it comes to looking ridiculous on holiday! Talking of which does anyone know where you can get those nose clip thingies that stop the water going up as you descend gracefully underwater like a mermaid? Don't feel that you are the only team duffer Carol - at least you got your hair a bit wet!!!

Sadly or fortunatley ( depends on your point of view ) I was not a party to the synchronized swimming displays last year ... but the ladies floating formation team do set the standards high with their floppy hats ...and more to the point they are true athletes, they float and talk with no obvious effort and theres none of this namby pamby getting out when your fingers shrivel ;D ;D

Unfortunately Carol, as you know, we got the "hard core" award so even if we were in Halki this year we would need to be dragged, kicking and screaming from the sunbeds (you know I only went for a splosh when I was melting ;D). I do however applaud the HTFT (is that right??) .. I thought you were brill ;D ;D I might even consider starting one this year.....how does the "Koroni cockles" sound

Right, may I just sort out the September-ish social calendar? We have the long-distance-willy-watching sponsored by Liz, Carol’s wet ‘T’ shirt competition, synchronized swimming with flowery hats and Calendar Girls uniforms, more tweaking of appendages by Liz all followed by the Ftenagia Retsina-Bandits crawling through bushes, climbing walls and hanging from beams to win the “I’ve seen Daisy with a hair out of place” photo competition! ;D Nah. I think I’ll take a day trip to Falaraki to get a little bit of peace and quiet!

I will bet you wont be anywhere near Faliraki in September ;D ;D and for the record I did not mention " wet " Tshirts, that is your mind working overtime ;D However long distance willy watching sounds quite an interesting pastime for us girlies, shame Liz wont be there to participate as she is obviously the expert !!!

Well the ‘wet’ bit was in keeping with the old adage ‘Never let the truths get in the way of a good story’, just a little poetic license. ;D You obviously have my measure (not in the Liz meaning) about Falaraki. We dropped in many years ago during a holiday in Rhodes and lasted only 40 minutes – and that was at 15:00 in the afternoon! I bet Liz is the only person who visits Halki with graticule bino’s. It’s if she turns up next time with a hand-held laser rangefinder that we chaps will start panicking.
