I know exactly how you fel Daisy. I spent almost the entire day yesterday trying to get some pics up and all I achieved, apart from total frustration, was a resolution never to touch the thing again. I know how you feel. I post on a dog forum and one of the smileys is a strange little creature beating the hell out of a PC with a large hammer. I probably use that smiley more than any other one on there.  |

Lynn good luck. You will probably see that I have now been trying to post pics for two days without a scrap of success. Today I've had a long correspondence with the geeks on PC Advisor but still it is a no go. The fault lies with me as I know there is a simple step somewhere I am missing. I think two days is enough. I'm going back to my marquetry and jigsaws.

Please can you clever people explain to me how you get the images at the bottom of your postings? I had a look in modify profile but can't see anything. Too technical for me no doubt. Should I phone Graeme & Carol? |

Lisa, have a look back at the beginning of this thread and you'll see the instructions. You need to make sure you have the ![]() at the beginning and end of the code with no spaces. Go on, have a go. If I can do it you can! If you get stuck ask Craig, he's a dab hand (or should that be paw?)! |

Lisa, I used this site: www.gifs.net/gif/There are others, just google gifs and see what comes up. When you've found an image or animation that you want to use, just right click on the image, choose 'properties' and you can then copy the code (the gobbledygook about half way down, called 'Address') and paste it into the 'Signature' box on your Modify Profile page on this site. Amazing, I sound like I know what I'm talking about and I only learnt it last week! Good Luck! |
