Thanks for that. Shame about Valentis - could have provided us with some much needed cheaper meals!

Last year we were there till Oct. 17th and Nick closed about a week before. We took a picnic to Ftenagia while they were still there closing up, cleaning the sunbeds etc. Then when all the sunbeds had been put away, not fancying lying on the stones ( ) we decamped to Pondamos for the last week. It made a nice change actually as normally we're at Ftenagia every day.

We're there till 22nd this year so maybe we'll end up doing the same!

The information given over the years by Rod& Jacki have been very useful to many people visiting Halki, your negative comments are rude and of no assistance to anybody.These are the sort of personal comments that should be moderated , it would seem this n/b is going the same way as the last one. i thought making personal comments about other people was against the rules of this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!if that is the case your posting should be removed

Hi Steven as you can see the offending posts have been moderated .I , like Carol assumed they were in jest ..it is obvious now they were not .
R&J are well valued and liked contributors to this board and as such personal slights against them will not be tolerated ( the same goes for all other members )
If you see a post that you think is unnaceptable and a moderator has missed it then please do not hesitate to bring it to our attention via a PM
