I booked in mid-August for May 2012 and I have looked at the EJ site a couple of times since and the flights are definitely cheaper now! It cost me a lot of money and I am more than a bit annoyed. Will be interested to hear what EJ have to say to you, and I too will be emailing them.

???I've received an email from EasyJet confirming I am due a "refund" - however I've phoned 3 times a day for 3 days and still cannot talk to a Customer Service Agent!!!!! However long did you have to wait on the phone - or how many telephone calls did it take to get a result?

It took me 6 months, countless phone calls, many emails and three independent, national media exposure threats. Got it in the end. They work on the theory that most people give up. Don't!  |

Hi Greek Girl I haven't even bothered to phone after reading Murrimans reply  TBH I haven;t got the time or energy to sit for hours on the end of a phone line listening to endless rubbish music at a premium phone line rate to boot At the moment I am only £20 out of pocket on flight prices and I am certain that would soon be eaten up with the phones charges I will keep an eye on flight prices and if they should drop drastically I might reconsider Sth I admire your tenacity |

I have nothing but praise for easyjet; got bumped off a rhodes flight last may and got £400 compensation,a new flight and 2 nights all paid in the Gatwick Copthorne

Thanks for the messages - this is just to inform I got through to EJ Customer Services yesterday - around 6 p.m., UK time. I now have my "refund voucher" - worth around £25 after taking off what I imagine was around £5/£6 spent on telephone calls. Being a pensioner £25 in my pocket was good news!!! Can be spent on booking an EJ flight, on adding extra luggage weight or to pay for speedy boarding. I think it will go on extra weight??? Who knows, time will tell...

Hmmm the thought of being able to use the voucher towards extra luggage has made reconsider making that phone call ;D |
