Seeing how it's cold, windy and raining I thought I'd have a bit of a "nosey" around tinternet and googled Halki. One website I found says that according to a magazine "Pontamos Beach was listed among the top 50 beaches in the world" Whilst it's nice (although you couldn't see it for bodies the day we went) I think that the writer might have partaken of a few too many ouzos

It has been a lovely beach in the past , Ive not been for a couple of years but top 50 in the world ??

Beautiful setting but not for us, we probably havent been on that beach for about 5 years, last time it was packed with people and dirty, give me Ftenagia any day ;D The author of the article obviously has not been to many beaches !!!
